Developer Chateau Group’s newly proposed Chateau Square seems similar in many ways to City Centre, on a smaller scale. The plans call for hundreds of residential units, office and hotel space, and a shopping center at the base shaded by a canopy that looks similar to the climate ribbon being built in Brickell.
Chateau Square - a new project of Chateau Group, has settled on Hallandale Beach at the intersection of US-1 and Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Today, Chateau Group owns two well-known projects, located at 600 and 700 Biscayne, and in the development of the company there are several projects in Surfside and Sunny Isles Beach. According to some experts, Chateau Square is akin Brickell City Centre, but the building is characterized by improved architecture. The building company engaged Dutch designers from UNStudio for the development of the project of buildings. The project involves two 56-storey skyscrapers, each of which 604 feet high, the total number of apartments will be 800. The project set aside space for offices, hotel rooms and a shopping center. All this will be located in smaller skyscrapers. On ground floors will be located more than 2,500 parking spaces. In the immediate vicinity of Chateau Square is situated Gulfstream Park.
